Clean Futures Programme

Supporting the West Midlands’ transport sector to be at the heart of the green industrial revolution

Clean Futures is one of five programmes being delivered by the West Midlands Innovation Accelerator.

The Clean Futures Programme focuses on the area of Clean Tech, aiming to support the West Midlands’ transport sector as it transitions away from fossil fuels and towards clean technologies. The programme will also drive economic growth in the region by accelerating the route to market for SMEs in the sector.

BCIMO is collaborating with project lead Connected Places Catapult and partners Coventry University & CU Services Ltd to deliver the programme, which officially launched on the 12th July 2023.

Clean Futures fits within BCIMO’s Technologies of the Future remit and comprises three component parts that each support different stages along the innovation journey.

All programme components support the overall development and growth of a West Midlands Clean Futures Ecosystem.
