Accelerating the development and testing of your sustainable innovations

The Clean Futures Accelerator aims to support Innovators with the accelerated development and testing of their technological innovations, while also feeding into the development and growth of a West Midlands Clean Futures Ecosystem.

Over the course of the next two years, 40 regional SMEs (20 per year) are being selected to join a 6-month, challenge-led accelerator. Those with rail-based innovations are being supported by BCIMO and those with automotive technologies are being supported by Coventry University.

Winners of the Accelerator will benefit from up to £50k in funding to develop and test their solutions, plus a comprehensive package of technical and commercial support.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT PACKAGE

SMEs will receive 10 days of bespoke engineering and technical support from the team at BCIMO, including access to the Rail Development & Test Site (RDTS) facilities.

COMMERCIAL SUPPORT PACKAGE

SMEs will receive 10 days of bespoke commercial support from the team, including access to a dedicated Clean Futures collaboration area and private meeting room, with discounted access to the Meeting & Events Spaces at BCIMO. The commercial aspect also includes a promotional media package and access to the Clean Futures Catalyst series of events.

At the end of the accelerator each cohort will be given the opportunity to showcase their innovations at an exclusive invitation only Demonstration Day bringing together Industry Partners and Investors.
