Grinsty Rail are an experienced organisation within the transport sector, supplying interiors and electronics for rail, with the latter including their PCM 1000 ‘Passenger Comfort Module’, which combines a range of sensors to continuously monitor and adjust the in-carriage environment.

The leadership team includes MD, Matt Perry-Parker, and Head of Engineering – and CF project lead – Naim Kapadia, who are based at their site in Redditch in Worcestershire.

Grinsty Rail joined the Clean Futures Accelerator programme to test and demonstrate the module, installing it on the T69 tram to monitor a range of conditions such as CO2, light, vibration, humidity and temperature, which can be addressed to improve experience and efficiency.
