AceOn Group
AceOn Group is a battery power company which specialises in the design and assembly of custom built battery packs and the distribution of industrial and consumer batteries to the UK and worldwide market.
Based in Telford in Shropshire, the company was founded in 2009 by Mark Thompson, who is passionate not only about batteries, but the potential to reuse them as part of the circular economy.
AceOn joined the Clean Futures Accelerator programme to test and demonstrate the application of its portable energy system (PES) for second-life EV batteries in an automotive environment, in this case at Coventry University. The company also received commercial support from BCIMO.
