Hixal

Hixal focuses on the development and installation of hydrogen fuel cell off-grid power services, across industries such as construction, road freight and agriculture, and for a range of commercial premises.

The company was founded by experienced design engineer and entrepreneur Ian Parry-Jones in 2023, and is based in Whitchurch in Shropshire.

Hixal joined the Clean Futures Accelerator programme to test and demonstrate its Hixapod grid-independent hydrogen-powered unit in an automotive environment, in this case at Coventry University. The company also received commercial support from BCIMO.
