As excitement builds for BCIMO Family Day, we’re proud to shine a spotlight on the first five of our Silver Sponsors, whose contributions are helping to make the event a fantastic, family-friendly experience. From ensuring safety and capturing memories to hands-on activities and live performances, each sponsor brings something special to the day.

POWERED BY CAN
Powered by CAN is a vibrant community organisation that supports young people under 35 across the Black Country and wider West Midlands. Their work focuses on creativity, youth voice, and community-led development, delivering engaging projects that inspire confidence, skills and a sense of belonging.
They previously partnered with BCIMO to host the Festival of Change, an inspiring event filled with interactive workshops, performances and inflatable activities, designed to help young people explore career paths and transferable skills in a fun and inclusive way.
For the BCIMO Family Day, Powered by CAN will be leading the way at Creative Corner, running hands-on arts and crafts activities for children and families to enjoy. They’ll also be bringing along some exciting inflatables, adding extra fun to the day’s programme.

Assurant Line Ltd is a professional health, safety and risk management consultancy, working with organisations across the UK to improve operational safety, regulatory compliance and organisational resilience. We’re fortunate to be working closely with Ross White, a highly experienced health and safety consultant and Director of Assurant Line, who’s practical, people-first approach makes him a valuable partner.
Ross is currently supporting BCIMO on a number of wider organisational projects, helping to strengthen our approach to risk management, health and safety, and compliance across our operations.
For Family Day, Ross is playing a key role in helping to ensure the event runs smoothly and safely. He’s advising on site logistics, stewarding, crowd management and emergency planning – making sure everyone can enjoy the day with peace of mind.

PARTY MASCOT HIRE
Party Mascot Hire is a Midlands-based company that specialises in bringing joy and entertainment to events across the region through their wide range of professional mascots, party packages and event services. Known for their friendly team and attention to detail, they help make special occasions even more memorable for children and families alike.
Adding colour and character to the day, Party Mascot Hire are supplying two family favourites – Thomas the Tank Engine and the Fat Controller – who’ll be making appearances throughout the venue. Even better? They’re also serving up the all-important ice creams to help keep visitors cool!
BIOPIC PHOTOGRAPHY
Biopic Photography, led by Warwickshire-based photographer Brian Irvine, specialises in capturing authentic, storytelling images across a range of settings—from corporate events and school photography to weddings and portraits. With a focus on natural light and genuine moments, Brian brings a relaxed yet professional approach to every shoot, ensuring each image reflects the true spirit of the occasion.
For Family Day, Biopic Photography will be one of two professional photographers documenting the event. Brian will be capturing the atmosphere, activities and special moments throughout the day, helping us preserve and share the memories from this exciting community celebration.

BLACK COUNTRY TOURING
Black Country Touring is a regional arts organisation dedicated to bringing high-quality theatre, dance, and cinema to local communities across the Black Country. By collaborating with local promoters and venues, they ensure that professional performances are accessible to all, fostering a vibrant cultural scene within the region.
For Family Day, Black Country Touring is delighted to present Curious Cargo, a dynamic street theatre company known for their engaging performances. They will be performing The Lost Luggage Porters at Showtime Station – a charming and comedic walkabout act featuring two vintage-style porters on a whimsical quest to reunite lost luggage with its owners. This interactive performance promises to entertain audiences of all ages, adding a delightful touch to the day’s festivities.
