treeva
Treeva provides renewable energy from wind using airflow from the movement of vehicles to drive trackside turbines and power elements of infrastructure such as signals and station facilities, reducing reliance on grid electricity and decreasing carbon emissions.
CEO, Anjali Devadasan, co-founded the business in 2023 and now leads a team of engineers and scientists from Imperial College London with extensive expertise in manufacturing, materials science, and control systems.
Treeva joined the Clean Futures Accelerator programme to test and demonstrate their turbine alongside the test track at the VLRNIC, thus with the potential to utilise displaced air from trains to generate power for a broad range of off-grid applications.
